Internal Family Systems (IFS) is one of the fastest growing models of therapy in the world. IFS is used routinely in a wide range of practice settings and supports diverse clients facing a wide range of challenges. IFS practitioners hold a non-pathologizing view of humans and gently engage with the many strengths clients bring to the work.

Together we will review the excitement and evidence base around the model, explore the power of its fundamental principles, and experience how the model works to support healing. We will explore the power of SELF energy and the beauty of the mantra "all parts welcome.". We will experience some simple IFS tools for support healing in complex cases.

You will come away with a deeper understanding of your own professional parts and clarity around if this model is right for your practice.

ABOUT

Lara Krawchuk, is Owner and Clinical Director of Healing Concepts, LLC a private counseling, continuing education and consulting practice, in Pennsylvania.

She is a long time Lecturer for the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice MSW Program. She is an active Practicum Faculty member for Robert Neimeyer’s Portland Institute for Loss and Transition. She speaks, around the country, about issues of ambiguous and living losses, caregiving, end of life, grief & loss, Internal Family Systems, psychosocial impact of cancer, self-care for helping professionals and trauma treatment. She is a certified IFS therapist and Level 1 Consultant. She is the author of numerous chapters and articles on cancer care, and creative healing for grief and living losses.
