My Style

I am a process-oriented therapist who utilizes a culture-centered approach. I place significant emphasis on my client’s cultural background, upbringing, and core values as they relate to the presenting concern. I offer a warm, empathic, and collaborative therapy space, allowing clients to authentically explore what has brought them to their current place of distress. We will work together to heal emotional wounds, dismantle unhelpful behavior patterns, and compound your innate strengths, allowing you to flourish as the best version of yourself.

My Specialities / Area of Focus

I see adults for individual and couples counseling. My areas of clinical interest are anxiety, depression, grief/loss, self-esteem, boundary-setting and assertiveness, relationship concerns, and conflict resolution. In addition, I have extensive experience with the first responder population, having worked with police officers, firefighters, paramedics, 911 operators, corrections officers, and emergency department physicians, nurses, and technicians.

What I Want You To Know About Therapy

I view therapy as an opportunity to cultivate a collaborative relationship with my clients; providing them with the chance to feel seen, heard, and affirmed. Change happens not by leaps and bounds, but by smalls steps done regularly and consistently. I invite my clients to use therapy as a space to slow down and be reflective about themselves and their experiences.
