My Style
I have a very directive, supportive and warm style with clients. I am very genuine, down to earth and I often use humor as a tool during sessions. I once had a client describe that they felt like I always had my hand gently held on their back as if I was supporting them but also to insure that they would never fall backwards.
My Specialities / Area of Focus
I have a focus with treating depression, codependency, grief, life transitions and caregiving stress. Child and adolescent therapy and family therapy are also a focus of my practice.
Eating Disorders are a specialty as well as working with substance abuse issues.
What I Want You To Know About Therapy
The process of therapy cannot be fully described in words. It is transcendental in nature and is experienced on a mental, emotional, physical and intellectual level. You will be amazed at how positive the effects can be from joining another person to guide your journey in life.
