Are you curious about what all the excitement about the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Model is about? Do you long to use IFS with your clients but are not sure how to safely begin? Do you prefer to learn from an officially certified IFS consultant, therapist and MSW professor?
In this interactive workshop, you will get the guidance to develop a foundational understanding of the healing power of IFS. Together we will explore the principles of this exciting, evidence-based model; including how and why Manager and Firefighter “parts” tend to dominate the internal systems of clients. We will explore parts roles and efforts to manage away the pain of deeply vulnerable parts. We will explore the healing power of SELF-energy and how to access its many benefits. Finally, we will discuss how to safely start working with clients from an IFS framework. You will return to your work with clarity around the power of using IFS principles in a diverse range of practice settings.

Therapists, Social Workers, Educators and Spiritual Leaders who are intrigued by Internal Family Systems (IFS) Model and want to support client growth in diverse clinical and educational settings. Helping Professionals who have taken an Intro IFS course and wish to deepen or refresh their knowledge of the model.

ABOUT
Lara Krawchuk, is Owner and Clinical Director of Healing Concepts, LLC a private counseling, continuing education and consulting practice, in Pennsylvania.
She is a long time Lecturer for the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice MSW Program. She is an active Practicum Faculty member for Robert Neimeyer’s Portland Institute for Loss and Transition. She speaks, around the country, about issues of ambiguous and living losses, caregiving, end of life, grief & loss, Internal Family Systems, psychosocial impact of cancer, self-care for helping professionals and trauma treatment. She is a certified IFS therapist and Level 1 Consultant. She is the author of numerous chapters and articles on cancer care, and creative healing for grief and living losses.
